A personal letter
Hey bestie, I'm Dani
Founder of the Bestie Squad, reader of every single application, and the woman who once had a full life and an empty Tuesday night.

Bestie, the truth is you're embarrassed to admit you want real connection.
I built the Bestie Squad because I was the woman with a full life and an empty Tuesday night, the one everyone assumed had it figured out. I had coworkers, a group chat, people who'd wave across the grocery store. What I didn't have was a single person who would notice if I quietly stopped showing up somewhere.
Nobody tells you that feeling surrounded but never quite known is its own kind of lonely, and that admitting you want more can feel more embarrassing than the loneliness itself. So most of us just don't say it out loud. We smile. We say we're fine. We keep being fine.
I tried the things you're supposed to try. Meetups. A mom group that felt, within three weeks, like trying to break into a high school clique. Bumble BFF conversations that fizzled after two messages. None of that happened because I'm bad at meeting people. I've never had trouble with that part. It happened because nothing I tried was built to survive past the first hangout.

The Roadmap is the method I wish someone had handed me. The same women, choosing each other again and again, with someone whose actual job is to notice who's gone quiet. It's the thing that turns "we should get together sometime" into an actual Tuesday, and then another one, until it isn't optional for anyone in the group.
"The women who feel deeply connected didn't stumble into it. They decided to build it."
Here's what took me the longest to understand: the women who feel deeply connected didn't stumble into it. They decided to build it, and then they kept choosing the same people long enough for it to become real. That's the whole secret, and it's completely learnable.
This is a place where you get to be celebrated by women who want you there, and it never asks you to perform or compete for a spot. Showing up is the only job you have.
And however long it's been since someone showed up for you first, we'll always make room for you here.
With love, Dani 🖤

From the Squad
What it's like inside

“The Bestie Squad came into my life at such a needed time. After moving to a new neighborhood and experiencing significant grief and loss, the Besties helped me find my spark again! The activities, challenges, and events are so fun, but it’s the connections that have truly been life-changing. I struggled finding genuine, lasting friendships growing up and feel like I’ve finally found women who love me for me. Just come—there’s a place for YOU here!”

“…They’ve become my people, my cheerleaders, my support system, and the sisters I didn’t even know I needed. … These are the women who show up, who celebrate the little things, who make ordinary moments unforgettable, and who remind you that you never have to do life alone. …”

“I originally joined The Bestie Squad to network and make connections for my business I had just started , but I had no idea I was walking into something that would change my life in such a meaningful way. 💙
Over this past year, I’ve found some of the most incredible women who have become so much more than friends. They’ve become my people, my cheerleaders, my support system, and the sisters I didn’t even know I needed.
These are the women who show up, who celebrate the little things, who make ordinary moments unforgettable, and who remind you that you never have to do life alone. The friendships I’ve built this past year are some of the strongest and most genuine I’ve ever experienced, and I know they’re the kind that will last a lifetime.
I may have joined to grow my business, but what I’ve gained is so much more valuable. I’ve found a community, a sisterhood, and friendships I will forever be grateful for.
Sometimes the best things in life come from simply putting yourself out there and being willing to meet new people. You never know when a new connection will turn into a forever friendship.”

“…I was nervous to attend my first Bestie event, but Dani was so happy I came, even though it had been five years since we had seen each other! That gave me the courage to introduce myself to other women - everyone was so friendly and welcoming. … No matter what stage of life you are in, there is a Bestie who can relate. Come join the squad!”

“Joining the Bestie Squad gave me something to look forward to when I was moving to a new city and leaving a place with many dear friends. I was nervous to attend my first Bestie event, but Dani was so happy I came, even though it had been five years since we had seen each other! That gave me the courage to introduce myself to other women - everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I have met so many genuinely kind women since joining, some of whom have become new dear friends. These women have even opened their arms to embrace my daughters! My girls feel the sincerity in the love from the Besties. No matter what stage of life you are in, there is a Bestie who can relate. Come join the squad!”
